Returns Policy

We hope you are pleased with your purchase from IES Computers Ltd. However, we understand there are occasions when you need to return goods to us.

Please note this Returns Policy is in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale which continue to apply. We would kindly ask you to revisit our Terms and Conditions of Sale and familiarise yourselves with your rights and obligations before returning goods.

Cooling-off period 

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return the goods within 14 days of receipt for either an exchange or refund.

Please note that shipping postage cost is not refundable.

When returning goods the item/s needs to be in its original and unused condition accompanied by all accessories, cables, media, leaflets and original packaging.  We suggest that all packaging material is kept at least for the 14 days cooling -off period, otherwise items may not be accepted for return. Keeping all packaging material for the entire warranty period, will help us serve you better if you experience a fault in a product which cannot be repaired. 

Goods returned must be accompanied by a proof of purchase and the warranty chit.

We require a written note with your intention to return goods. You may do so by sending an e-mail on

Damage to packages / boxes (including collection from our premises) or wrong quantities on delivery

If you find that there is any damage to the packages or boxes, or that the quantity of packages delivered is different to the quantity shown on the cash sale / invoice / delivery note, then you must notify us on the day of delivery.

Damage to goods or discrepancy in goods after delivery

If you discover after delivery has been made that the goods are damaged or there is some other discrepancy with the goods (including any faults with the goods), then you must notify us within five working days from date of delivery.

Where goods are shown to have been damaged (except damage caused by any act or omission of the customer) or are faulty, then we will either issue you with a full refund (via your original payment method or otherwise) or replacement goods (at our option) once the damaged and/or faulty goods have been received back in our premises. These goods shall arrive in our premises within ten (10) days from the date shown on the sale transaction, unless otherwise stated in writing.


If you discover any faults in the goods after five days from the date of delivery, then you should contact us for a warranty/guarantee repair or replacement. We shall offer our after sales service provided that the goods have been paid for in full; the goods have been properly kept, used and maintained with the manufacturers or our instructions; and the goods have not been modified without the manufacturers or our written consent. Any faults caused due to accidental or wilful damage, interference with or maintenance of the goods undertaken by other persons will not be covered by any warranty or guarantee, unless otherwise stated. 

After Sales Service

We also offer an after sales service at a charge for goods which are not covered by the warranty period, although we reserve the right to withdraw from this service on any product or at any time.

Packaging goods for return

Goods which are returned to us, then you must ensure that goods are returned to us in their original packaging and that the seal is not broken for any software, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing or the software is faulty. Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for the risk and cost of all return carriage and insurance. The onus of proof for safe delivery of the goods back to our warehouse rests with you.

Returning goods for replacement or refund

We have a procedure where all goods returned back to our warehouse are inspected before a refund or exchange is offered. In order to give a quality service we require prior written notification with your intention to return goods. Hence, you are requested to send us an e-mail at including your details, the product(s) description including any serial number(s) and the transaction number as proof of your purchase.

We reserve the right not to accept goods in our premises where prior notification was not received. The onus of proof of such notification rests with you.
